Niwa: a garden path past the stones
Niwa is Japanese for garden, and one of the four logic puzzles at Tabi Puzzles. Every one is made by hand and checked by a solver to have exactly one solution, found by reasoning alone.
Like Country Road and Moon or Sun: one route through every square, a room at a time, past stones that have to alternate.

The rules
- Find the one route from the gate to the tea house 茶. It steps up, down, left and right, visits every square of the garden, and never visits a square twice.gatetea housea line
- The heavy lines cut the garden into rooms. The route may cross them, but it enters each room once: when it leaves a room, it has been everywhere in it.two roomseach room once
- The stones alternate. Along the route, the stones it passes go white, black, white, black… Two of one colour never come one after the other.stoneswhite, black, white
