Like Numberlink or Flow? Try Kisha
In Numberlink, and in the Flow Free app, you join each pair of matching ends with a line. Kisha starts from the same place: every train has a start and a finish, and you draw its line between them, in its colour. Then it adds two things a Numberlink line never meets: crossings, and stations that count.

What you already know
- One line for each pair of ends. Each train's line runs from its start to its finish, square by square, up, down, left and right.
- Lines get in each other's way. Away from a crossing, two lines never share a square, so a line that has to pass through a narrow gap shuts the others out of it.
- Reading the board. Which line can still reach its end, and which one is cut off, is most of the logic here too.
What is new
- Lines may cross, but only straight across each other at right angles, the way railway tracks do.
- Stations count. A station's number is how many of the eight squares around it carry its own train's track, diagonals included, a little like a Minesweeper number.
- Empty squares are fine. Unlike in Flow, the lines do not have to fill the board.
The rules of Kisha
- Draw one line for each train, in its colour, from its start to its finish. A line steps from square to neighbouring square, may leave its start any way, and never turns round inside a square. Squares no line uses are fine.startfinisha line
- Lines may cross, but only on straights: two lines share a square only when both run straight through it at right angles. Otherwise track never overlaps, and no line runs into a void or a station.crossingvoid
- A station counts the eight squares around it, diagonals included, in which its own train has track — its start and finish count too, and each square counts once. Its number is that count. A station with ? only has to be passed at least once.station? station
- A piece of track printed on the board has to be laid by one of the lines, whichever train it is. A straight piece may still be crossed at right angles.piece
